Emerson’s Nature by Tyler Green

Hello! This is a review of Emerson’s Nature commented and illustrated by Tyler Green. I found it in Concord, MA bookshop. Such an interesting and beautiful book! Immigrants in the US like me have been struck (or crushed) by American nature, a source of marvel or awe. The painting of landscape has been elemental in the composition of a new republican unity. The interesting conclusion in the book is what Tyler calls “American art’s goodbye to nature”, or what I would call a new iconoclasm. Have a good read!
